There are many ways to drive traffic to your website and they work better or worse, but here are some basics you should have in your strategy.
SEO – do keyword research and optimize your website to be visible in the Google search. Do your best to rank higher than your competitors. Basically, your website needs to be updated, without any broken or missing links.
Content marketing – provide high-quality content with relevant keywords. Write some interesting posts, show your products in action, and provide an interactive content such as short videos, GIFs, etc.
Social media – you need to be present in social media when you run an e-commerce business. People usually google your brand name and look for it on social channels before they decide to buy anything. Be active in social media and choose the best channels. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest are great ones for an e-commerce business.
Promotion – run well-targeted AdWords and/or social media ads to grow your audience.
Analytics – it gives you lots of information you need to know about to get better results.
